Global Community Projects: Join Us on an Educational Journey
Established in 2017, Trees and Seeds is a Vermont based non-profit organization dedicated to travel with a purpose. We invite travelers of all ages to consider a trip with us to do agricultural and educational projects in small communities around the world. Since 2019 we have traveled to Malawi and Peru, with future plans for travel in 2023 and beyond. Please contact us via the contact page for more information!
Potential Trip to Biscayne and Everglades National Parks in 2026
We are in conversation with both parks to volunteer in projects such as restoring manatee habitats, mangrove maintenance and other related needs in these delicate ecosystems.
Stay tuned for a late winter, early spring trip in 2026. We are also anticipating a return to Peru in summer of ‘26.

Our Commitment
We are focused on education with young people, as well as those who are young at heart that will radiate to others in their communities.
Our Impact
Projects include: drilling wells for clean drinking water and crop irrigation, food security, aquaponics, planting native fruit trees, constructing a 30’ by 50’ greenhouse, providing corn pellets as a fuel alternative, and providing smokeless stoves.
We hope to create a greater understanding in the world by sending out teams to locations of need. Working side by side with local communities around the globe, we seek to develop sustainable projects which will improve health, promote equality, develop new friendships and give all involved a new vision of global citizenship in an increasingly interdependent world.
What Can You do to Help?
In order to keep travel costs as low as possible, we seek to fund our projects via donations. Our organization is based on volunteer work, so when we receive donations, 100% of that money goes straight toward our projects.
