In this trip to Peru we partnered with several villages near our lodge.  We also planted and weeded organic gardens at the lodge, which provides food for the villages and showcases sustainable agriculture.  Our daily visits to the communities included gardening and planting, as well as children’s activities.  Some of the children participated in the gardening projects.  The trip culminated in an exciting two days visiting Cusco and Machu Picchu in the Andes Mountains.
